Terrific Turkey Burgers!
Turkey Burgers get a bad wrap because they can be dry and flavorless, but not these Spicy Rooster Turkey Burgers.
1 Pound ground turkey (80% Lean is best here)
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons ketchup
1 Egg white
2 Tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 Tablespoon Chopped Parsley
1 Tablespoon Finely diced Carrot
1 Tablespoon Finely Chopped Shallot
1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons SPICY ROOSTER EVERYTHING BLEND (or for a Cajun Turkey Burger use SPICY ROOSTER CAJUN BLEND)
Sautee chopped shallot and carrot for 3-4 minutes then set aside to cool. Once cool mix all ingredients together until thoroughly combined. Next, form 4-5 patties. Grill (or pan sear) 5-7 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165° or higher.
Serve on Fresh pretzel roll with Mayo, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. For a southwestern flair mix Spicy Rooster Cajun blend with mayo and a dash of lime juice and slather it on!
