Spicy Rooster is as easy as 1, 2, 3...

First of all, let me personally thank you for stopping by Spicy Rooster! I am very excited to finally be able to share these extraordinary spices with all of you this summer.

I have refined these blends over the years that I have spent cooking personally and professionally. I love these spice blends so much, that I choose to use them when I cook for friends and family as well as when I cook professionally. What higher praise can you give a product than use it for close friends and family.

I have tried many spice blends and I believe that Spicy Rooster Seasonings are simply the best on the market, period. Why do I make such a bold claim? Because I use only all natural, organic ingredients. Add to that the fact that I have spent years refining and perfecting the flavor makes Spicy Rooster the only choice when it comes to spices.

Ok, that is enough about me, time to share something we at Spicy Rooster are committed to, and that is providing you with easy to make recipes. Look, I get it, everybody is busy, that is why I am committed to helping make your life a little easier and with my expertise that means helping in the kitchen. Whether you struggle to boil water or you can make a flawless Beef Bourguignon Spicy Rooster is here to help you make great tasting food simply.

That brings me to todays ridiculously easy recipe, Curry Rice!

Ingredients:

Basmati Rice - 1 ½ Cups (My favorite here, but you can use any white rice)

Yellow Onion - ½ea.

Olive Oil - 1 Tablespoon

Spicy Rooster Curry Blend – 1 ½ Tablespoons

Optional

Diced Organic Carrots – ½ Cup

Organic Peas – ½ Cup

Cashews – 1/8 Cup

Organic Chicken Breasts - 2 (6oz. Portions)

Method:

1.     Dice half of a yellow onion and Sautee on medium high heat in olive oil until onions become translucent.

2.     Add Rice and Spicy Rooster Curry Blend. Mix and heat for 1 minute before adding 3 Cups of water.

3.     Bring to a boil and reduce heat and cover until fork tender.

See I told you that was as easy as 1, 2, 3…

Optional

Now, if you want to, you can kick this recipe up a notch then Season some organic chicken thighs or breasts with Spicy Rooster Curry Blend a little canola oil and grill. While the chicken is grilling add some fresh carrots diced small, fresh peas, and rough chopped cashews to the rice mix. (To make it even easier you can add some frozen organic peas and carrots to rice mix after 15 minutes of cooking)

Serve with your grilled Curry chicken and viola – you have a great dinner ready in 20 minutes.
